The health of India’s workforce, measured.
Loop’s second annual study of the metabolic and behavioural health of urban working India — read through blood panels, a 126-question behaviour survey, and the hospital claims the same workforce files. The risk shows up in all three. At once.

One workforce, read three ways.
Blood panels, behaviour, and the bill — across urban working India, the 2026 data converges on four numbers every employer should carry.

The people the policy actually pays for aren’t the people it was bought for.
Spouses, children and — above all — parents on the employer’s policy are sicker on biomarkers and drive the larger share of the bill. The dependent layer files two of every three claims and carries ₹217.4 Cr of the ₹320.6 Cr incurred. It is also the layer least likely to ever get a preventive screen.
